I chose this quote because of the horrible shooting in Fort Hood, Texas. The shooting hit unnaturally close to home for me, not only because it was tragic, but because my best friend could have been there. My heart, thoughts, and prayers go out to the family, friends and persons involved.

I chose that quote because my best friend is being deployed to Afganistan in December. The next two months are going to be grueling for myself, as well as him and his family. I know that he will return, and that it is going to be a long 400 days. But I find myself thinking back on silly things we've done and crying over them. I'm going to miss him terribly.
