Lore is an enslaved assassin. In order to end his enslavement, and save his sisters life Lore has to complete one last kill. The only problem is the target is protected by an earthbound angel. Idess, just happens to be the earthbound angel that is protecting Lore's target, and she's going to do her job no matter what. The sooner she can ascend into heaven the better she believes she'll be.

Right off the bat I fell in love with Lore, a badass with a soft side that even he didn't want to deal with. My type of hero. I'm not going to lie, when I started reading Ecstasy Unveiled and the first scene was a sex scene, I wasn't too sure where this book was going to go, or if I would even like it. I like some sexxin' but right off the bat it kind of scared me. However, it was that sex scene that really introduced me into the nitty gritty of Lore. Plus, the praying mantis like demon ... heck yes!

Idess as a character was a kick ass chick. I loved her as well. Actually, I loved all the characters that I met in Ecstasy Unveiled. And even though it's part of a series, I didn't feel as if I missed anything massive, in terms of plot, by not reading the rest of the series. However, I am going to go back and read the series in order, because I want to know about the other characters.

Ecstasy Unveiled, was an energetic steamy read. I would gladly recommend this to anyone who likes paranormal romance, with a kick.

Yup, you read right. Find the Time to Read is a year old today. I've had some ups and downs the past year working on this blog. I've switched hosts several times, changed the layout, worried if I was posting too much or not enough. There was the whole summer where I barely posted because real life kicked me in the face, but I still came through it all and so did Find the Time to Read.

I received my first ARC this year, actually until I started working on Find the Time to Read I didn't even know what an ARC was. My first ARC was Eyes Like Stars by Lisa Mantchev and I won it in a contest that she had put together. Getting that package in the mail really shocked me to my core, and was really one of the coolest things that have ever happend to me. Currently my copy of that ARC is sitting on my bookshelves next to the finished copy of Eyes Like Stars. It's a silly thing, but for me that ARC was a lot of firsts, and it means the world to me.

Never Slow Dance with A Zombie

Summary:
Margot is a really fun character. She forges notes from her parents to get out of gym that have ridiculous reasons. The reasons were hilarious for her to get out of gym were pretty hilarious. I found myself chuckling more than once.

Her best friend Sybil was also pretty awesome. She loves Tom Jones and is always really nice. Sometimes she's so nice that Margot can't believe that she's actually from planet Earth.

This book didn't click with me, and I don't know why. I tried really hard to like it, but I think it just wasn't for me. Although I really did like the way that E. Van Lowe used the zombie cliques to kind of show that most cliques are mindless zombies anyway, all following one leader who is also a mindless creature. That to me was a really awesome way of showing that.

I would recommend this book for kids in middle school, it would be a great teaching tool and a good way to open up discussion on hanging out with people outside of your cliques.

For Zombie Appreciation week, I decided to Re-post and take another look at my first review of Generation Dead by Daniel Waters. I actually had the privilege of meeting Daniel Waters a couple of months back, and was instantly charmed by him. For someone who writes about zombies, he was a very normal guy!

I recently re read this book and realized that I really do like it. It was a great read, that really hits on how people can react to things that are different or strange to them. And as I pointed out in the original review, Daniel Waters really had a good grasp on how a teenager would react to situations. I would give it a slightly higher rating as well. Instead of a 3 out of 5, I would change it to a 4 out of 5.

Summary:
First of all let me say that this book was a hot read. I'm talking super steamy. The waves of tension, both sexual and normal that radiated from these characters really could have lit something on fire. While I read this book, I laughed, I cried, I threw things.

Sophie is an amazing heroine. Head strong and dependable. She loves her man ... er men. When she finds out that Garrett is dead, it breaks her. I wish that we could have seen more of how finding out about his death had changed her. Later in the book it comes to light that she had married Tristan. This threw me for a loop when I first read it, I had to go back and re-read the beginning to make sure I didn't miss anything.

That being said, both Garrett and Tristan were pretty awesome themselves. I felt that most times Garrett was a bit too harsh, and too stubborn and honestly for the most part acted like a petulant child. Tristan was extremely loyal, and if he had not stood up for himself and fought back, I almost would have labeled him a door mat. In the end though, he redeems himself. (Ohh mysterious!)

The bad guy in this novel was kind of confusing, but once I realized that I was reading too much into him, he instantly became much easier to understand. I would like to see him make an appearance later on in this series.

Overall a great read. Something I would recommend to anyone who wants a little steam in their life, or is looking for a fast paced romance.
