Summary:
Edie Swan, formally Eden Swanford is out for revenge. She returns to her home of Redbud, Tennessee hell bent to make the men she believes responsible for her father's death pay. She starts by sending out black angels to each of the men, hoping that the sight of the black angel will goad them into spilling the beans about what really happened to her father all those years ago. Except that when the men start dying, Edie becomes the number one suspect. Even to herself!

Holt Drennen, the sheriff of Redbud, doesn't suspect Edie at first, all he wants to do is get her in the sack. But after awhile he starts to suspect that Edie knows more than she is letting on. When the previous sheriff of Redbud gets the black angel, Holt and Edie really start to worry. Seeing as how it's Holt's father.

This was a fantastic read, the mystery was enough to keep the pages turning, and after awhile I really seemed to get wrapped up in what was going on. A good read, something that I would recommend to anyone who likes mystery and some romance.

Summary:
Georgia Kincaid is amazing, she's sexy, funny and smart. Of course that's how she's supposed to be since she's a succubus. Except that she looks at it as a job, that's it. Sure there are some amazing perks, but she doesn't even take advantage of them. It's the price she makes herself pay.

Succubus Blues was an extremely cute read, I don't know if that's what the author was going for but that's what it was. The characters were extremely lifelike, they all had flaws, Georgia most of all. They all seemed like someone that you would meet at the store.

It was a solid read, with enough mystery to keep the story going. I'm waiting to read the whole series, and really think it would be a cute movie. The sex scenes weren't graphic at all and even better they fit in with the story line and the love triangle that Georgia finds herself in was realistic. Drawn to one, but falling in love with the other.

A fabulous read, really. Great beach read. I rarely post quotes or anything from the books, even though I should. But this one really struck me and I have to share it. It's towards the end of the book and it just fit so well with what was going on that it made me tear up a little bit.

"There's always hope," he repeated more firmly, a commanding note in his voice that startled me. "No one is beyond hope."
